As the manager and business executive’s right shoulder, we are looking for an experienced corporate secretary. You will play a key role in the smooth operation of the office as the company secretary by supporting managers, senior-level executives, and departments. You’ll be responsible for making sure our business abides by all applicable financial and legal regulations and upholds strong standards of corporate governance. Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Company Secretary to join our esteemed CA firm. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance, governance, and effective management of corporate affairs for our clients. Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the statutory compliance and filing requirements for a portfolio of clients, ensuring adherence to Companies Act and other relevant laws.
2. Assist in the incorporation of companies, drafting of resolutions, minutes, and related documentation.
3. Guide clients on corporate governance, board meetings, and AGM/EGM procedures.
4. Handle ROC filings, annual returns, and other regulatory submissions accurately and within stipulated timelines.
5. Maintain statutory registers and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
6. Facilitate communication between clients, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
7. Provide strategic advice on legal and compliance matters, including changes in company law and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Qualified Company Secretary (ACS) as per Indian market standards.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a CA firm or corporate environment.
3. In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and other relevant laws.
4. Proficient in handling ROC filings, company incorporation, and statutory compliance.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement.
6. Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
7. Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and compliance in documentation.
